Kodak Black Legally Changes His Government Name

by HHL JT

Kodak Black is no longer the stage name for Dieuson Octave. Now it's the stage name for Bill K. Kapri.

A Florida judge has granted the 20-year olds request to legally change his government name from Octave to Kapri.

Kodak's attorney, Bradford Cohen, explained that his client got the new name to signify a fresh start.

Last month, Mr. Kapri took a plea deal for violating his probation by live streaming images from his home of drugs and guns.

It was for 364 days minus time served and if all goes well Bill K. could be out by late September.

It was a pretty great deal, considering his legal baggage, and Kodak effusively thanked Cohen, the judge and the prosecutor for working out a fair plea deal, which he described as a "blessing."

Do you think Kodak will emerge from prison a new man?
