Kodak Black has evoked colorism in his latest social media comments.
“A Lightskin N-gga Can’t See Me In Nothing,” he typed. “Good Black Don’t Crack #WeWinning.”
While Kodak prefers not to collaborate with light-skinned black people, he's had no problem getting together with people with lighter skin -- such as Bruno Mars, French Montana, and Vanilla Ice. His career also took off after a co-sign from Drake.
Despite his thoughts on light-skinned artists, he has a preference for light-skinned women, which he expressed in 2017.
"I'm an average dude," said Kodak. "Cause I don't see myself no better than him, no better than him or no less than him. So if he can say that he like skinny women ... He can say that and nobody would get mad at him. I just said I don't like women with my complexion. I like light skinned women. I want you to be lighter than me. I love African American women, but I just don't like my skin complexion."
Are Black's latest comments evidence they mis-programed Clone Kodak?
