A Florence County, South Carolina grand jury has indicted Kodak Black on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges stem from a February 2016 incident in a Florence Comfort Inn and Suites motel room. Here's how Black's arrest warrant describes what allegedly happened.
“[Kodak] forced the victim onto the bed in the room and then onto the floor of the room,” the warrant says. “The defendant removed the victim’s underwear” and attacked the victim orally and then penetrated her, it says. The “victim repeatedly told the defendant no and to stop. The defendant did not stop,” the warrant continues. The warrant also states that the victim had bite marks on her neck and breast and was administered a rape kit upon reporting the assault. It is said to have confirmed her injuries. The victim initially reported the rape to her school nurse. Her school then made the Florence County Sheriff's Office aware of the allegations and Black was arrested.
Kodak had played a club show in Florence County the night of the incident.
As a condition of his bond, Black can't comment on the allegations against him by way of print, electronic, digital or social media. He also can't contact the victim or her family.
He faces up to 30 years in prison. His trial date has yet to be set.
