Kodak Black Blames GPS for U.S. Border Arrest

by Daryl Nelson

As we predicted, Kodak Black said he got arrested because of his GPS.

TMZ reports that Kodak was driving from Detroit to Boston, and without him knowing his navigation app brought him through Canada. (Which saves about an hour on the 11-hour trip, as opposed to driving south and avoiding the border.)

In fact, the rapper had no idea he was leaving the U.S. until Canadian border patrol asked for his passport.

But Kodak still kept going, and when he tried to reenter the US he and his entourage were arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge for driving with things like dracos and ganja.

The 21-year-old was released on Thursday after he posted a $20,000 cash bond. He then hid behind a bunch of cash on his way out of jail.

The arrest made Kodak miss a show in Boston, and his fans were pretty pissed about it.
