Kim Porter's children, Jessie, D'Lila, Christian, and Quincy released a statement having to do with their mother's 2018 death.
They reacted to talk that their father Diddy killed Kim, which began circulating again after his arrest.
A new book called Kim's Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side also perpetuated the rumor, as did Kim's ex Al B. Sure who on Monday said he wants Kim's death investigated. He's been saying for years that Kim was murdered.
"We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents Kim Porter and Sean Combs' relationship as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out," wrote Jessie, D'Lila, Christian, and Diddy's adopted son Quincy in a joint statement, shared on Wednesday morning. "Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not."
"Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother," the statement continues. "She was our world and nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon. The cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play."
The official cause of Kim's death is pneumonia. She died in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Toluca Lake at age 47.
