The notorious Paris robbery of Kim Kardashian had some serious ramifications.
The reality star lost about $10 million in jewelry, and the shocking crime helped contribute to her husband Kanye West's very public mental breakdown.
Kim has kept a low profile since the October incident, limiting social media activity and public appearances and not speaking on the robbery.
While we're sure she was traumatized by what happened, it now appears her silence was part of a plan to promote a new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Season 13 premieres on Sunday, and Kim explained what happened during the robbery in a tearful teaser for the show.
"They ask for money. I said I don’t have any money,” she said. “They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.” The tearful mother of two continued, “I was like; ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision.’ Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I’m fucked. There’s no way out.”Ten people have been arrested in connection to the crime.
