Killer Mike Is Running For Office

Killer Mike has established himself as one of the most political rappers in the game.

As of today, the Run The Jewels emcee is entering politics.

This morning, Mike  got on all social media platforms and asked voters in Georgia's 55th district (Atlanta) to write him in tomorrow in a special election for the Georgia state legislature.

In Atlanta Georgia there will be special election tomorrow for District 55. Former state representative Tyrone Brooks no longer sits in the seat. I would like as many people as possible to go to the polls and write in Michael Render. Why because if I win we win. Thank you now go vote

There were already seven declared candidates in the race to replace Tyrone Brooks, who resigned in April after pleading guilty to tax fraud.

While a write-in candidate who jumps in the day before balloting would typically have no chance, Killer Mike's name recognition could go a long way in what should be an extremely low turnout election. Although we do think you have to write in "Micheal Render."
