"That's what caused the split between me and Wayne. Everybody knew my voice and the music, but nobody knew my face. As big as ['Mrs. Officer'] was, me being in that video would have taken me to superstar status. I felt like me not being in the video -- we gotta talk. At the time, he was on his high horse. And I'm like 'look, I can't come around like it's all good like, I can't do that.' We gotta talk about this."
The hosts then asked why Kidd thought Wayne left him out of the video.
"I don't know. You gotta ask him. I didn't even n*ggas was shooting the video. Around that time, I had a lot of people evacuate to Atlanta.. So I was scrambling to make sure my people was right ... And they didn't even let me know. He didn't want to talk or whatever. Two days after that they called and they like we got a flight, come to Miami ... I'm not going to fly out there and it's going to be me against him and bunch of yes man."
Kidd went on to say that he's cool with Wayne now, adding he did get properly paid for "Mrs. Officer", but only because he was vigilant about keeping his publishing.
