So it turns out J.T. Jackson, the guy who was arrested for trying to extort Kevin Hart, was an extremely close friend of the actor and comedian's. Not only that, Hart went out of his way to get Jackson acting jobs, including a prominent speaking role in a 2013 Coke commercial.
Earlier this week, we reported that Jackson was charged with 2 felony counts of attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter. This was after he tried to blackmail Hart with a video that showed him having sex with a woman named Montia Sabbag, who's not Hart's wife
As far as that 2013 Coke commercial, a TMZ source said Hart showed up on the day of filming and demanded that Jackson be cast in one of the main roles — even though someone was already hired.
In the end, Jackson got the job and the person previously brought on was given a smaller role. It was one of at least three times that Hart demanded Jackson get a role like that.
What kind of punishment do you think Jackson deserves for all this?
