Kevin Gates Said Prison Was A "Beautiful Situation" In Strange Interview

Kevin Gates did his first post-prison interview with  Real 92.3. About five minutes in, he told the hosts he felt like was being "interrogated" even though their questions were boilerplate for a radio interview.

Then he told DJ Hed not to touch him when his hand brushed against his arm.  It looked like things were going off the rails, Gates-style

But it all got looser when they asked about the nine-month stint Gates recently did for gun possession -- a subject he was more than happy to talk about.  

"Anybody that's watching this that was locked up, or is about to get locked up. Let nobody dictate your pace. If anybody asked me what my prison stint was like, it was time well spent. It was a beautiful situation. I had time to sit. I had time to think. I had time to grow. It was beautiful for me. It wasn't no negative path for me. It was a correction center. I'm about to correct some of my fucked up habits ... the streets arent' cool," Gates said.
