Kevin Gates is quite the contrarian.
Whether the topic is vaccines or having sex with your relatives, Gates is never afraid of going against the grain.
So while all the other rappers were heaping praise on Kobe Bryant, Gates went in the opposite direction.
Man, that nigga a rat, man. Yeah! He told on Shaq -- 'man, Shaq cheat on his wife too ... you told on somebody, that's a rat," Gates said, referencing Bryant's 2004 rape trial preliminary hearings during which he revealed his then-teammate Shaquille O'Neal's infidelities.And that's not all: Gates doesn't much care for Kobe's Mamba nickname.
"And you named after a snake," Gates explained.
