Kevin Gates Released From Prison On Girl Kicking; Thrown Right Back In Jail

Kevin Gates was released from prison today after serving most of his six month sentence for kicking a female fan during a Florida show in 2015.

Then he was thrown right back in jail because he had an outstanding gun warrant in the Chicago area.

A hearing later today will determine if he will be extradited to Illinois.

Although the specifics of the gun case haven't been revealed, we know Gates was supposed to be in Cook County, Illinois court on Sept. 22, 2015 to face several gun charges, including aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. However, his legal proceedings in Florida got in the way.
