Kevin Gates' 'Islah' Gets Pushed Back Until 2016

Kevin Gates' build up to his debut album, Islah, has been similar to that of his mixtapes. He drops a song, gives a date, drops more songs, and finally gives us the project. Maybe this is the reason why Islah is now being pushed back until January 29, 2016. His debut deserves a different formula, and more time to build upon what his tapes did.

On one hand, it's a shame that we have to wait an extra month and some weeks, but is should be for the better. Kevin will get more exposure, maybe even add some other songs to the mix. He may aslo do better commercially in the new year than he would've in the crowded December month.
