Kevin Gates Explains Why He's Still Working With Young Chop

Kevin Gates has been worried about Young Chop for a while.

"My heart goes out to Young Chop, the industry they gonna blackball him," Gates spit in a snippet of a track he previewed last week.

Chop's response was odd, to say the least.

"Him mad," he typed under Gates's empathetic post.

Despite that, Gates is still working with Chop.

In the comments, he explained why.

"Why you working with @youngchopbeatz," asked a fan. "He gonna sneak diss behind your back for clout."

"When it's done from the heart, it doesn't matter," Gates reasoned.
