Kendrick Lamar's 'Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers' Has Sales Predictions

Kendrick Lamar's first album in five years, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, drops on May 13.

HitsDailyDouble, who are known for making their sales projections are doing one better and making a sales prediction for Kendrick's last album on TDE.

.@kendricklamar's 'Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers' is expected to debut at #1 in the US upon release, current forecast is 350K first week (via @HITSDD).

They believe it will move 350K first week, which will lend him number one on the Billboard chart.

 That would be a significant drop from the 603K Kendrick's last album DAMN. did.  However, the landscape has changed in five years, particularly for Hip Hop releases.   First-week numbers have been coming down as fewer and fewer people buy traditional albums and instead stream over longer time frames.
