Rolling Stone mag has ranked his album DAMN. as best of 2017 in its annual top 50 rankings of all genres.
Following Kendrick at number 2 is Lorde Melodrama and then U2's Songs Of Experience. (Which briefly features Kendrick.)
Other Hip Hop albums in the top 50 are Khalid's American Teen at 6, Migos C U L T U R E (9), JAY-Z 4:44 (12), SZA Ctrl (20), Drake More Life (27), Vince Staples Big Fish Theory (28), Open Mike Eagle Brick Body Kids Still Daydream (34), and Residente, Residente (38).
