Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean have been slick-talking each other since Kendrick jumped on "Control."
Earlier this year, an alternative verse of Kendrick's track "Element" leaked. In it, Kendrick names Sean.
"Big Sean keep sneak dissin,' I let it slide/ I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can’t make them respect you, baby, it’s not my job / You finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme," spit K Dot.
At the time, Sean said it was no big deal.
In a new interview with Charlamagne, Sean explained that Kendrick had previously apologized for the diss via text message after a snippet had leaked. So when the alternative version came out, the issue was already dead.
Kendrick Lamar apologized to Big Sean for dissing him on his leaked unreleased verse on 'ELEMENT.'

"Then me and him talk, and got the text on my phone," Sean said, and showed CTG the message. "He apologized in a sense for going that far and that sh*t coming out. I wanted to show you this because he apologized.
Sean added that if push came to shove, he was ready to go to all-out war with Kendrick.
“I guess we’ll never know… but yes, of course I would have been ready," he said.
