Kanye West has been the talk of the internet over the past few days.
That had a lot to do with the rapper announcing that he's running for president in a July 4th tweet and giving a rambling interview to Forbes.
Ye said that he's no longer supporting Donald Trump in that interview, someone he's been backing since Trump won the presidency. The GOOD Music boss also dissed Joe Biden, said he's calling his political party The Birthday Party, and revealed that he had COVID-19.
Kanye's family says that all of those recent statements have to do with Ye being in the middle of a major bipolar episode, which they're really concerned about, according to TMZ.
The family says that he goes through this type of episode once a year and believes things will eventually balance out.
Ye talked about having bipolar disorder with TMZ in 2018 and said that he wasn't taking his medication. Before that, he said the meds were blocking his creativity.
Do you think that Ye's recent presidential announcement and rambling Forbes interview are attached to his bipolar condition or is Ye just being Ye?
