Kanye West could be making a gospel album with Slim from the R&B group 112.
Ye had a couple of 112 members serenade Kim Kardashian over the phone, and afterward the Chicago producer and Slim talked about a lot of things, including making gospel music to bring more kids to church.
"There's a situation that's going on spiritually that he's involved himself in, as far as church," Slim told TMZ. "Hearing this right here, I definitely had a connection there. Kanye being a musical genius, he'll do an album and then scrap it. So I'm not the type of person to say 'This is what he's going to do, this is what I'm going to do,' because at the end of the day, whatever happens it's what God wanted to happen. He's in a real good place."
But if history repeats itself, there won't be a collab gospel album from Ye and Slim. Because Ye was supposed to do that Good Ass Job album with Chance The Rapper and that never got off the ground. There was also a collab album with Drake that was supposed to arrive before they started beefing that we'll probably never see.
