We figured Kanye West and Kid Cudi had something cooking when they showed up together in Japan earlier this month.
Now we have confirmation from the New York Post:
"They’re going to drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue,” an anonymous source close to the situation told Page Six of 'Ye and Cudi. "They’re going to drop some surprise project on everybody. They’re recording it now.” Things haven't always been good between West and Cudi. Last September Cudi accused his former mentor of being an industry fake who needs ghost writers. Then West shot right back at him in one of his notorious Saint Pablo tour rants.
Not long after that, they both spent time in mental facilities.
A source close to West told The Post that the duo’s feud “went away pretty quickly. It was likely something that was lingering, but not as serious as it seemed. Kanye’s always airing out whatever he’s thinking onstage, but they’ve always been close.”
There's been chatter that the West/Cudi project will be titled Everybody Wins and will drop December 31.
