According to Kanye West's pastor Adam Tyson, Ye considered quitting rap because it is the "Devil's music".
Tyson, who is the senior pastor at Placerita Bible Church in Newhall, Calif., says he helped convinced him not to.
Kanye started visiting Tyson's church in mid-May and the two formed a relationship that now includes Tyson's participation in some of Ye's Sunday Services. Tyson told the Christian podcast Apologia that Ye was "radically" saved and started to question his career and all of the sin that goes along with it.
"One time, he told me that he wasn't going to rap," Tyson revealed. "I said, 'Why not?' He said, 'That's the devil's music.' I said, 'Hey, man. Rap is a genre. You can rap for God.' I think he was already thinking about it a little bit, but I definitely said, 'Hey, bro. I think you need to use your talents that God's given you and use that platform for God.'"

Kanye's album Jesus Is King is allegedly coming soon.
