Kanye West tweeted about Diddy being in jail on a sex trafficking charge and asked Donald Trump to step in. Ye made the request after launching his Yeezy X Sean John collaboration.
"FREE PUFF," he wrote. "@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF."
Ye later said slavery is a choice, which is a statement he made in 2018. After that, he called Diddy his idol.
"WHAT YALL GONE DO CANCEL MY SNEAKER DEAL CANCEL MY RECORD DEAL FREEZE MY ACCOUNTS," Ye tweeted. "F*CK ALL YALL N*GGAS SLAVERY IS A CHOICE. I’M SPEAKING MY MIND NOW. I AINT EDITING SH*T AGAIN EVER ... THEY TRYNA PROVE A POINT AND YALL KNOW THAT. YALL F*CKING KNOW THAT AND SITTING LAUGHING AT THE F*CKING INTERNET ON INSTAGRAM. THIS MAN GAVE HIS LIFE TO US. THIS MY IDOL. THIS MY HERO."
He shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Diddy's son Christian Combs as well.
What's your reaction to Ye's words?
