One of the big moments of the MTV 2015 VMA Awards last night was Kanye West getting the Video Vanguard award. Taylor Swift, whom he famously interrupted at the VMAs in 2009, introduced him.
After accepting the Moon Man, 'Ye took a couple minutes to soak up the adulation. Then he began a lengthy speech, which touched on his boorish actions toward Swift and other artists, not understanding award shows, MTV using him for ratings, and a future without brands.
When he was done with his disjointed rant, he announced that he will be running for President in 2020
