Kanye West said he wants to bring Colin Kaepernick to The White House for a meeting with Donald Trump.
"I've been calling Colin this morning, reaching him, so I can bring Colin to the White House, and we can remove that 'sons of bitches' statement," said Ye on TMZ.
In 2017 Trump called those NFL players who knelt at games during The National Anthem "Sons of bitches," so apparently Ye believes all of that can be smoothed out with one meeting.
The Chicago spitter has been going on about Trump for the past few days now. First, there was a video of him sporting a re-designed MAGA hat, where he was also wearing a Colin Kaepernick sweatshirt. And then Kanye went on a rant about supporting Trump at SNL over the weekend.
Kaepernick, meanwhile, has raised his status even more after appearing in a new Nike ad that ran on the NFL's opening night. Since that commercial aired, Nike's stock has shot through the roof, despite a lot of people saying they'd boycott the brand because of Kap.
Do you think Ye will make that Trump, Kaepernick meeting happen?
