Model and singer Kacy Hill was on Kanye West's Good Music label for five years.
You may remember her from Travis Scott's track "90210."
But by 2019, the relationship had run its course. Hill wanted off Def Jam, Good Music's parent, and Def Jam didn't want her anymore. However, the only one who could terminate her deal was Kanye, who was no longer using email and was almost impossible to contact.
Here is her story of finding Kanye, who eventually let her out of her deal.

"So for like sixth months of my life I went to Sunday Service. It was like going to someone's wedding with like a contract in your hand where I'd go and be like, that was really beautiful sir. Can we talk?"
After six months, she was free -- so it was much easier for her to get out of a deal than most.
