Juice WRLD's Ex Says Record Labels Courted Him With Drugs

Juice WRLD's current girlfriend is said to have told the authorities that Juice WRLD "takes Percocet and has a drug problem" after he suffered the seizure that led to his death.

His ex-girlfriend Alexia Smith has cosigned that in an interview with the Daily Mail.

She told the tabloid Juice would take up to three Percocet pills a day and mix drugs with lean. She added that he struggled with his mental health and that caused to him become physically violent with her, eventually leading to their breakup last year.

She also revealed that during the record labels' courtship of the rising star he was provided with drugs.

Within days of arriving in LA, Smith claims she saw the drug-heavy world Higgins was being brought into, saying 'someone from a label gave him morphine and cocaine' on the third day she was visiting. 

Smith said: 'He didn't do the coke but the point was, in the beginning, labels were fighting over him so bad they would have given him anything.'

According to Smith, the end of her relationship was damaging to Juice's mental state.

"Seven days away from me, he ended up in the hospital. When he was away from me for seven days, he ended up hospitalized from collapsing on stage. One year away from me, and he's dead," she said.
