Jontay Porter Gets Lifetime Ban From NBA For Gambling

Toronto Raptors forward Jontay Porter has been given a lifetime ban from the NBA for gambling.

The most serious charge against Porter is that he disclosed information about his health status to a known NBA better who made a 80K prop bet. Porter then removed himself from that game, claiming he felt ill and allowing the bet to hit for $1.1 million.

Porter was also found to have bet on 13 NBA games using an associate's online account.

He bet millions of dollars on other sports.

The league says they are still gathering more information, so we may learn of further misdeeds.
