Jonathan Majors Says He Was 'Shocked' About Assault Conviction In First Interview

Jonathan Majors was found guilty last month of one count of third-degree assault and second-degree harassment in the case involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

He broke his silence on the verdict in an interview with ABC News and said he plans to appeal.

"I'm standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, 'How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution's evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?'" he asked.

Elsewhere, Majors, who Marvel fired after the guilty verdict, spoke about that much-talked-about video of Jabbari chasing him.

"If you watch those videos and you reverse that, and you saw a Black man chasing a young white girl down the street, screaming and crying, that man is gonna be shot and killed in the streets of New York City," he explained.

Majors was also seen crying in the interview and explained that he's lost nearly everything.

"Everything has kinda gone away. And it's just me now, you know, and my lovely, you know, partner, Meagan [Good], and my dogs," he said.
