Johnny Depp's film City of Lies, which is about the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., has been pulled one month before its scheduled release.
It was supposed to be out on Sept. 7, but according to Variety that's not going to happen and there is no new date.
Depp plays the late Russell Poole, the Los Angeles detective who investigated Biggie and Tupac's murders. The film is based on the book LAbyrinth by author Randall Sullivan.
There's no official word as to why the film was pulled, but the decision came from distributor Global Road Entertainment after reports of trouble on the set.
In July, Depp was accused of punching a location manager and then offering him $100,000 to punch him back. Depp was eventually sued by that location manager. Depp has also been accused of domestic abuse by his ex Amber Heard and has allegedly blown most of his $650 million fortune on wine, castles and a special cannon used to shoot the ashes of his good, dead friend Hunter S. Thompson into the sky.
