Joe Budden and Drake certainly have an interesting history, which included diss tracks and Budden getting run up on by Suburban OVO goons.

Now Joe Budden has had an interesting reaction to Drake's new Honestly, Nevermind album.

The album is notoriously a dance and house project.

In a conversation with Vince Staples, Budden wonders if Drizzy's genre jump may spell the death of rap music as a genre. [Jump to 1:57]

"Do you think Drake putting out a dance album gets us closer to the elimination of rap music as a whole.  I know it sounds like I'm playing but I'm serious," Joe wondered.

After pointing out his own 2017 album The Big Fish Theory had dance elements (and was criticized for it) Staples concluded that rap as a genre is as good as gone.

"The genre sh*t has to go out the window eventually hard to separate culture because the internet sh*t is pushing everything into the same genre."
