Joe Budden never seemed to believe that Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion, and he doubled down on that opinion during a recent episode of his podcast.

"All of them involved have reason to lie," Joe said in part. "So, he took her gun and shot [Megan]? ... Y’all think a man is just shooting a girl for no reason? And this n*gga was just about to get some Kylie Jenner ass ... That guy is shooting? No, that guy wants to go back."
Joe also said there was a conspiracy by some powerful people to get Tory locked up since he was sentenced to a decade in prison last year for the shooting.
"I think it’s above her. I don’t think she made it up," Joe alleged. "She’s a mere pawn in this ... I know how that gun got there, I know whose gun it was."
Megan's former best friend Kelsey Nicole — who some believe was the actual shooter — later reacted to Joe's words after he mentioned her.
"I thought it was weird that the last time we talked about this sh*t, Kelsey jumped into my DMs talking about, 'Don’t talk about this no more,'" Joe recalled. "Why? You got immunity. It’s odd."
