Joe Budden Says Lil Wayne Made A Kendrick Lamar Diss Song

by Daryl Nelson

Lil Wayne's first reaction to Kendrick Lamar mentioning him on his new song "wacced out murals" was to call the Compton rapper.

But he couldn't reach him, according to Joe Budden, so he made a diss song instead.

"Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down," raps Kendrick on the song, which has to do with him getting the Super Bowl halftime gig instead of Wayne.

The Young Money rapper has already responded on social media and said he'd "destroy" Kendrick if he had to.

Now we'll have to see if that destruction will come though that diss song Joe spoke of.

"I'm hearing that somebody picked up the phone, tried to call and see what the energy was," said Joe on his podcast. "I'm hearing that Kendrick didn't answer. I'm hearing that Wayne went in the booth."
