Generation X grew up making Hip Hop their day-to-day culture, so they feel a certain ownership of it.
Some younger folks want the old heads to leave the Hip Hop space and keep quiet about its happenings.
And that's the basis of the Gen X vs. Gen Z battle between Joe Budden and Kai Cenat over Killer Mike sweeping the rap categories at the Grammys earlier this week.
Kai thought that Travis Scott's Utopia should've won while admitting that he never heard of Mike.
Old Joe had a lot to say about that.

"Y’all little streaming n*ggas don’t always run sh*t," said Joe. "Shut the f*ck up! We don’t care about none of that lil’ streamy moshpit, marked card, whatever you n*ggas is doing over there. U-f*cking-topia? U-nopia, n*gga ... I’m just so happy that the little f*ckety f*cks finally have a look in the mirror moment and say, ‘Oh, it’s not about us.’ No, adults are out, n*gga ... N*ggas got fly sh*t on, real execs, business people."
Kai later shot back on Twitch.

"What we have here is a case of old n*gga syndrome," he said. "Stop talking about streaming n*ggas like we some lil’ n*ggas, bro. I could buy you, my n*gga. Do you understand that?"
Adin Ross also responded to Joe and called him an old hater. What are your thoughts on this argument?
