Joe Budden Goes All The Way In On Eminem; Suggests He Could Take Him Down

Joe Budden was among Eminem's targets on Kamikaze.

That was five days ago. Budden has made a couple of hints at a response. 

But he finally went all the way in on Em in his latest podcast, which dropped this morning.

In the hour-plus rant, he criticizes Eminem and Shady Records for not properly promoting Slaughterhouse. Contrasting how Eminem and Paul Rosenberg treated the supergroup with how Rick Ross treated his MMG artists Meek Mill and Wale.

"Ross is showing you how to be with your artist. Tell me what were our advantages being here with Em? Can we get a verse on some shit?"

Of course, he also went to the present day.

"I heard the album," said Joe after saying Eminem used to be great, "And because I don't think you know all the members that were in the group, I don't really think you know our history. Let me tell you what Joe Budden has thought this entire time. I've been better than you this entire fucking decade! "In my rapper brain, I'm a content nigga. You gotta say something! You have not said anything for the better part of a whole fucking decade! You have rhymed a bunch of words."

"Eminem is the best rhymer of  words on the planet .. The Hip Hop I fell in love with is the Hip Hop that says something. I personally haven't heard that, Marshall, in quite some time. How could I be mesmerized by somebody I'm better than." 

Joe then said Eminem lives in a cocoon, has lost control of the situation, and isn't just dissing pop stars anymore. He also suggests Em was the first industry plant. Then he goes in for the kill.

"I know you don't know about me," warns Budden, "you better go ask some niggas close to you, I live for this type of shit. All of that rappity-rap, lyrical miracle bullshit, any niggas that want it like that, that think they want it with me? I don't think you would fare well. I also think it's really corny when retired niggas pop shit about what they coulda, shoulda, woulda done. So, I feel like I'm in control of the rules here, Em. I'm backed now. You're not so much."
