Jerry Jones was in Jay-Z's territory last night as his Cowboys met the Giants in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The two men shared some words on the sidelines before the game. A conversation that has increased significance now that Dallas star receiver Dez Bryant has signed with Jay's sports management team Roc Nation. There had been reports that Jones was unhappy that Bryant made the jump to Jay-Z.
Afterwards, when asked what exactly the two talked about, Jones wouldn't give a straight answer: "Yeah, I was working on a halftime deal with him for Thanksgiving,” Jones said with a wink. "No it’s good. He had just been to the stadium and entertained there. He’s outstanding."
Despite being a New Yorker, Jay-Z has said he is a Cowboy fan because his dad liked the team. So maybe Bryant's move to Roc isn't as dire as Jones first thought it was.
