Dr. Dre was handcuffed in front of his Malibu home earlier this week after a confrontation with a motorist.
Dre wanted the guy to stop blocking his driveway, and the motorist called 911 claiming Dre waved a gun at him. According to Dre's camp, the motorist cursed Dre and said "Here we go again another black guy with a gun."
Dre denied he ever had a weapon, and cops didn't find one when they patted him down.
TMZ caught up with former NWA manager Jerry Heller and asked him what he thought about the police cuffing Dre. We all know that Heller and Dre aren't friends. But the 75 year old still backed the good doctor on this one.
"As you know, professionally I am a big Dr.Dre fan. Personally I am not such a big Dr. Dre fan, but I think this was all bullshit ... I mean, what did he do? He was just trying to leave his house, the guy had his driveway blocked. Without knowing all the facts, it seems to me it was a racial issues," Heller concluded about Dre's treatment.
