Jaylen Brown Caught On Camera Saying Bronny James Isn't NBA Material, Issues Statement

The controversy surrounding Bronny James being drafted into the NBA and playing on his dad's team the Lakers will probably go on for a while.

Last night,  Jaylen Brown got caught speaking negatively about Bronny's hoop skills.

Brown was watching an NBA Summer League game with his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick and WNBA star Angel Reese when he took a shot at Bronny.

"I don’t think Bronny is a pro," said Brown about LeBron James' son.

"I think he’ll be on the g-league team, for sure," Kryse responded.

"Because of his name, he’s gonna be with the Lakers," Brown predicted

The clip quickly made the internet rounds, so the 6'6" wing tried to do some damage control.

Notice that Jaylen didn't take back his words about Bronny, who struggled in college and in Summer League, not being NBA-ready. Instead, he talked about watching him grow into a pro.
