Jaydayoungan's family are now starting the mourning process after the 24-year-old was shot and killed in his hometown of Bogalusa, Louisiana on Wednesday, July 27.
The rapper's father Kenyatta Scott Sr. was shot as well and is now in stable condition, according to the The Bogalusa Police Department.
At first, Jaydayoungan's sister Kenya Janell denied reports of her brother's death.
"Instagram removed my post but yeah ALL THAT IS CAP !! Nobody dead.. Get a life !! "she wrote.
Later, however, Kenya acknowledged the tragic news and wrote a heartfelt message about the "23 Island" rapper.
“Javorious, no way they took you from me like this💔I’m sick to my stomach, they wanted this… they wanted to see you like this bro," she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so sorry💔I love you so much!!!
