JAY-Z was all about mending fences during his 4:44 show in Chicago last night.
Before going on, Hov posed for a photo with his mentor-turned-rival Jaz-O.
Then when he took the stage at the United Center he thrilled Kanye West's hometown crowd by playing a snippet of Kanye's "Can't Tell Me Nothing," and then shouting out 'Ye when it was through.
In a recent New York Times interview, JAY-Z said that even though he and 'Ye were going through a rough spot in their relationship they will always be brothers.
"I [talked to] Kanye the other day, just to tell him, like, he's my brother. I love Kanye. I do. It's a complicated relationship with us," he said. "We're both entertainers. It's always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother."
"In the long relationship, you know, hopefully when we're 89 we look at this six months or whatever time and we laugh at that," he continued.
