JAY-Z Pushes Back Against Anti-Rich Rhetoric

During a Twitter space conversation, JAY-Z defended his wealth.

Hov believes the powers that be are trying to shame rich black people for getting money by hurling pejoratives like "capitalist" at them.  Listen to what he had to say:

“Then when we start getting it, they try to lock us out of it.  They start inventing words.  You know, like "capitalist".  We been called n*gger and monkey.  Y'all gonna start coming up with stronger words.  We not going to stop.   We’re not gonna be tricked out of our position. Y’all locked us out. Y’all created a system that, you know, doesn’t include us. We said fine. We went our alternate route. We created this music. We did our thing, you know, we hustle, we f*cking killed ourselves to get to this space.
