Jay-Z Providing Legal Assistance To Family Almost Shot By Police

Last week, 22-year-old Dravon Ames, his pregnant fiancée, Iesha Harper, and their two young children were almost shot by police.

Apparently, one of their two children stole a doll from a dollar store, which resulted in the interaction in an apartment complex.

On the video, you can hear police screaming "Get your f*cking hands up," and at one point, one very overly aggressive officer saying "I'm gonna put a fucking cap in your fucking head."

This was all happening while Harper was holding her two children in the backseat. 

Now, Ames and Harper are suing for $10 Million. Their statement said...

The police officers committed battery, unlawful imprisonment, false arrest, infliction of emotional distress, and violation of civil rights under the fifth and 14th amendments of the United States Constitution.

Jay-Z caught wind of the video and story and has now stepped up to help the young family. 

He has hired high-powered attorney Alex Spiro to work on behalf of the family and is calling for the termination of the police officers involved in the incident.

Spiro is seeking charges against one of the police officers for child neglect and is also assisting the family with their $10 million lawsuit.
