It's not a secret anymore. Sources have told Page Six that Jay Z and Beyoncé plan to release a surprise joint album either late this year or early next.
The couple, fresh off of their joint "On The Run" tour, have apparently been in the studio recording the album.
Jay and Bey seem to be following the strategy of Beyoncé's last record, which was a "surprise" release that legitimately stunned fans. The eponymously titled album was the fastest selling in iTunes history and has moved close to four million copies world wide to date.
Along with the new album, the husband-and-wife team are also expected to simultaneously release song videos and possibly a feature film.
What do you think? Is a Jay-Z and Beyoncé album something you'd be looking forward to? Or is it best the pair keep their talents separated in their respective genres.
And is this all a big smoke screen for the martial problems/elevator drama the press was all over a couple of months ago?
