Jason Derulo performed during the halftime show of the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions game in Detroit on Thanksgiving. It didn’t go over too well.
People blasted the song selection, the choreography and other things about the performance. But what seemed to get most folk’s attention is the awkward field rush, because it didn’t look like the people knew who Derulo was.
Hometown boy Big Sean was at the game, and many were confused why he didn’t do the halftime show instead.
Derulo hasn’t responded to the chatter yet, but you can see some of it below.
Big Sean is in Detroit and the Lions had Jason Derulo perform at halftime 😐🤔

Wasn’t sure who Jason Derulo’s demographic was. Appears this is my answer pic.twitter.com/W72QZAYWXy

Having Jason Derulo perform anywhere near a football stadium is a way bigger disrespect to the troops than kneeling for the anthem.

Big Sean is in the stadium, but the NFL decided it would be a better idea to have Jason Derulo perform?¿ pic.twitter.com/k708pVV6Lt

It looks like 21 Savage isn't the only one who needs to improve his halftime game.
