Jaden Smith's gender bending ways have confused and confounded many, including his dear old dad.
But what Will Smith and the rest of us may not understand is that it's our fear that prevents us from appreciating how the 17 year old looks in a dress.
"I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms,” Jaden, who's released two mixtapes, tells GQ. “I feel like people don’t really get it. I’m not saying that I get it. I’m just saying that I’ve never seen any distinction. "I don’t see man clothes and woman clothes. I just see scared people and comfortable people."It turns out Smith lack of gender conformity is part a greater plan toward fixing all of humanity.
"I’m really working towards just fixing the whole planet Earth,” he says. “I really just want to create a utopia on this planet. I really want to make it so that people don’t have to die to pay bills and just work to survive. So that they can work to actually live and do the things that they love to do."Will dress-wearers like Smith and Young Thug lead us all to a higher plane of consciousness?
