There have long been reports that Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith share an unconventional marriage.
Jada's been on a media run for her new book, and on it, she addressed their matrimony. According to her, they've been living separate lives since 2016, and she was surprised that Will called her his "wife" when he delivered his notorious Oscar slap to Chris Rock.
During an interview with NBC's Hoda Kobt last night, Jada addressed reports that she and Will were swingers and each other's beards.
"You and Will probably have more rumors about you and talk about you than others. 'They're in an open marriage, they're swingers, he's gay, she's gay.' I mean a million things were out there. What, if anything, is true and did hearing all that stuff bother you?" Kobt wondered.
"No," Pinkett Smith responded. "You know, that's part of it. I would say that none of that's true. I definitely can understand why there'd be misunderstandings. But none of it's true."
In the same interview, she said she has no plans to divorce Will, even though they are no longer together.
