You never know what may cause rap beef.
In the case of Jackboy and NFL Choppa, it was a joke Choppa made about Kodak Black being a clone.
Choppa did so a few months back when everyone was comparing photos of the incarcerated Kodak to pre-incarceration Black and jokingly speculating on whether the government did Kodak like they may have done Gucci.
Jackboy just confronted Choppa on that old joke because Choppa just sent Jackboy -- who's from Pompano Beach and is tight with Kodak -- what would seem like a complimentary DM. Upon receiving it, Jackboy went off and called Black a "dickrider."
"@choppppppa Money Don’t Make You Real Keepin It Real Make You Real I’m Not Feeling All Dis D*ck Riding P*ssy N*gga You Was Just On Foolie Now You Tryna Be a SG Fan B*tch You Was Just Tryna Say Kodak a Clone," he wrote on IG.
Jackboy further explained his stance in a video.
"You was like, 'Kodak's a clone'. I'm sensitive about my brother. Don't play about my brother," Jackboy said. "That was it. I woulda left you, however. It would've been whatever. I would've seen that and probably like ya little message if you would've never taken that route but you were just saying Kodak a clone and all that. Man stop playing with my brother. When you said that, that's like saying 'f*ck Jackboy.'"
So there you go.
