Two things were inevitable once Ja Rule's Fyre Fest descended into Hunger Games like madness last week.
First, 50 Cent was going to clown Ja for the failure.
Second, he was going to get sued bigly.
After making us all wait, 50 did take a shot at his old rival yesterday.
Today, the lawsuit is here. Ja and his partner Billy McFarland are facing a $1oo million class action spearheaded by celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos.
The suit alleges that Ja and McFarland outright lied about the festival's accommodations and safety, and warned their celebrity friends not to come in advance.
“[Fyre Festival’s] lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees — suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions — that was closer to ‘The Hunger Games’ or ‘Lord of the Flies’ than Coachella,” Geragos wrote. We last heard from Geragos a couple of weeks ago when he was defending 50's good friend Chris Brown from the latest trouble he'd gotten himself into.
Hmmm ....
Here's a video of what went down at Fyre.
