If anything, the 25-game suspension the NBA ga Ja Morant for flashing a gun on social for a second time was considered light.
But not by Ja's team.
According to ESPN insider Ryan Macmahon, Ja's people think the league and the media are out to get him.
“I have heard indirectly that Ja and people close to Ja, perhaps people formerly close to Ja, have this feeling that the NBA out to get them. That the media is out to get them," he reported.
In addition to they gun flashing, Ja has been involved in other questionable incidents.
They include allegedly beating a teenager during a pickup game at Ja's home, allegedly running up on a high school during a dispute involving his little sister, and allegedly running up on sporting goods store employee during a dispute involving his mother.
