The Memphis Grizzlies suspended their star player Ja Morant for at least two games after he filmed himself waving his gun in a Colorado club after his team lost to the Nuggets.
The NBA is also investigating and it is likely he will end up with much more than a two-game ban.
The NBA prohibits players from carrying a gun during league travel. Since Ja was in Colorado with a gun it is likely their investigation will uncover that he violated the league's collective bargaining agreement by taking the weapon on the team plane.
We will see how the Ja Morant situation develops.

The NBA opened an investigation after Ja Morant’s social media post of himself holding what appeared to be a gun at a nightclub. Ja Morant was in Denver when he showed the gun on social media, meaning he had to carry the gun on the Memphis Grizzlies' plane.
