J Prince was Extorting DJ Screw Through His Artist & He Didn't Even Know It

Although J Prince and DJ Screw were both from Houston, they met under unusual circumstances

The boss broke down how he met the late legend on Drink Champs.  [Jump to 1 hour 18 minutes.]

"Screw was a real intelligent, unique guy, even in the midst of lean," Price said, and added that he's never told this story before. "When I met DJ Screw, DJ Screw was being extorted by an artist that was connected to me.  But I didn't know nothing about the extortion.  But I was the one supposed to be extorting him.  He was paying an artist a monthly, because they was connected to me.  After he and I had the opportunity to get together in my office, he said 'man, you ain't nothing like they say you are.' and I'm like 'what you mean?  And he broke that sh*t down to me.  He said, 'Man haven't you been getting your money?'  I don't know nothing about the sh*t.  There's a lot of sh*t that go on that I don't know nothing about. I end up falling in love with Screw."

N.O.R.E. said he's not going to ask Prince who the artist was.  But Prince still gave him a hint.

"Let me say this about him," the Rap-a-Lot boss said the artist extorting Screw.  "He dead."
